IPNA November 2019 Meeting Agenda

The Inman Park Neighborhood Association Meeting will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2019, 7:30 pm at the Trolley Barn. The following items are on the agenda. All are welcome. Springvale Park South Herbicide Treatment

The Springvale Park Committee together with Inman Park Tree Watch has this announcement for visitors to the southern portion of the park, i.e., the natural area that lies between Euclid and Edgewood. Trees Atlanta will be applying herbicide to invasive ground covers in that half of the park on Friday, November 8, and Monday, November 11. If you regularly hike or walk your dog there, you should find a different location on those two days. Thank you for your cooperation. Contact Jim Abbot, 404-281-0638, if you have a question.

Trunk or Treat at Inman Park UMC

On October 26th from 2-4 pm Inman Park UMC will be putting on their annual Trunk or Treat in the parking lot. Bring your young children and their friends, come in costume, and have fun! There will be decorated trunks with treats, face painting, pumpkin painting, and a sweet walk. This event is free and open to the community. Please bring canned goods for Intown Ministries! Random Productions, LLC wants to inform you that we will be returning, for the last time, to film scenes for our 1950’s period piece television series at the same private residence in your neighborhood on October 7, 2019. Our company will be permitting various portions of the neighborhood streets for production support, and for parking period appropriate vehicles for the actual filming sequences. Most of the scenes will take place inside the residence. However, we do have one exterior day sequence. We will be requesting to permit the following:

Fulton County Arts & Culture Contracts for Services 2020 Deadlines

The Fulton County Department of Arts & Culture (FCAC) is pleased to announce application deadlines for the upcoming FY 2020 Contracts for Services funding cycle. Funding will range from $1,000 to $50,000 for Fulton County based artists, arts, cultural and community based non-profit organizations and artist collectives. 
The CFS 2020 applications open Sept. 4, 2019, and close Oct. 18, 2019. The Small Arts Project Support Funds category has rolling deadlines which are subject to the availability of funds. 
Applications must be completed and submitted through the WebGrants System: http://fulton.dullestech.net/
