On November 15 at 7 pm, the Little 5 Points Alliance will be holding our Annual Meeting at the Little 5 Points Center for Arts and Community to introduce new board members as well as share what we’ve been working on in 2022 and what we hope to accomplish in 2023.

Why: To meet new board members, hear what we've accomplished in 2022, and discuss what's to come in 2023.

I am a reporter with 11Alive News. We will be launching a new, hyper-local news platform called My East Atlanta News, on Monday July 15. We currently  operate My Lawrenceville News (www.mylawrencevillenews.com), My Cumming News, and My East Point News—all of which are a part of the 11Alive Newsroom. Next Hulsey Master Plan Workshop - Saturday July 13th! The planners at Lord Aeck & Sargent have spent the last month digesting the feedback from the pop-up studio.  They will have three different plans to present to the community.  Your vote and opinions matter - please pencil in some time to attend and provide your input! May's IPNA meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at the Trolley Barn, 7:30 pm. 

This month we'll vote on new board members: 

 Beverly Miller to serve as President, Jonathan Miller to serve as Vice President for Zoning, Rick Bizot to serve as Vice President for Planning, and Jeff Oliver to serve as Treasurer.

Do you love Bass Field? Do you love Little Five Points? Plans are underway to redesign Findley Plaza in Little Five Points with Renew Atlanta funds. The Little Five Points Commercial Improvement District’s (L5PCID) Findley Plaza Redevelopment Committee will conduct two community input meetings on the following days, times, and location. Show up and voice your vision for Findley Plaza and Bass Fields.

Regan Hammond gave updates on Renew Atlanta and the plans for 3 upcoming projects: Euclid and Edgewood, Krog St and Lake Ave and N. Highland from Alaska to Elizabeth St. Full plan details will be available at Inmanpark.org.

Little 5 Pts Halloween Parade Permit approved. parade will be on October 21, 2017. 

Anna Foote from the Atlanta Commercial Improvement District came to discuss Findley Plaza and Bass Fields. Residents strongly voiced their desire to maintain Bass Fields as green space where kids can play instead of developing the land into a parking deck or other structure. IPNA Pres Neil Kinkopf expressed the IPNA's desire to have a neighborhood rep become part of the the CID's process. 

Please join us for a volunteer event in Findley Plaza. We'll be beautifying the space and adding a unique art installation in anticipation of the Inman Park Festival. We need all the help we can get!
